Please note that the Emergency Broadcast Stations listed are for the San Francisco area. Find out what stations will broadcast emergency information in your area and fill those in if you live outside the greater San Francisco California bay area. |
Health Information for Emergencies. Download this list and use it to create a printed paper that contains the information that disaster responders might need in order to help you in an emergency. Your paper may be multiple sheets. We recommend that you print the information on water-proof paper if possible. Keep it in a zip-type plastic bag, which is itself kept in a water-tight container, and kept with your purse, backpack, or what ever you would use to carry things outside your home. |
2008 Conference on Earthquake Hazards in the East Bay Area, San Francisco, CA, Oct. 22-24. Organizers include: CA Geological Survey; U.S. Geological Survey; CA State University East Bay; University of California-Berkeley; and United Research Services Corp . Conference will offer scientific presentations, a free public forum on earthquake hazards and earthquake preparedness, teacher workshops/tutorials on earthquake science, and geology and engineering field trips in the East Bay area. |
